Air Charter Express flightplans and repaints

Post by kungfuman »

Now, I could be wrong, but I believe this company may well be chartered by the military. Very hard to get any info on them, other than photographic reference of them operating regular flights between RAF Lyneham and Basrah from their hub at Ostend.

So if you think that is good enough evidence, you may like these flightplans and repaints I've done for them. Lookout for my Afcads for Ostend and Lyneham soon, which I'll be releasing shortly in support of these, and other, flightplans. I even edited all the taxiway signs at Ostend!

If this sounds like it's up your street, you'll find it all on the following pages:

Here are the real aircraft:

(Sorry I can't get them to "link" directly...)

And my package's included repaints:

Just waiting for my Ostend Afcad to appear now.

This represents my first attempts at repainting (an art for which I can't find much time, sadly) and modifying beyond the functions of Afcad. While it gave me a brief insight into what basic repainting involves, I of course realise that I have only scratched at the surface layer. I would be grateful if someone else wishes to make a more sophisticated attempt for the flightsim community - there seems to be quite a bit of interest in this release on Avsim so far, so it's obviously something that people are looking for.

nice but im afraid they're repainting them - 9G-RAC is now in those colours. One of my pictures:

I've just finished repainting this one.

Are you a Lyneham local?

My package was for 9G-AXA, 9G-AXB and 9G-AED. They were owned by Air Charter Express. Have they changed name and aircraft? If so, get painting

Nice photo btw!

I'm in Bristol, so not local - although in the context of this international forum you could argue that either way...

oh ok! Yeah they will start to but think that's along way off yet - its just 9G-RAC to Lyneham at the moment i presume the white ones do the Ostend - Iraq run?

good repaint though, i had a crack at it and it's not easy - better than mine
