The E2-D is sweet. On that line, nobody mentioned fuel enconomy. Makes since to stay with a platform that can stay airbourne for along time without refueling.

The Israeli Hawkeyes have had refueling capability for some time now. If the USN puts the probes on the "D"'s, there is going to be some sore E-2 crews.
