Yes. The P-8 is the new one from Project Opensky . . . bomb bay opens . . torps, sonobuoys drop. Seems to fly nose up a bit tho'.
But it allows me to fly into the NAS.
I eliminated all I could on the E-2's and have a few AI at NGU.

I believe I used a GMAX E-2C for FS2002 by Rick Sasala. Not sure what the download file name is . . can't seem to find it in my backup CD's. I stripped out the panels and sound in the config to make it an AI. Two or three of them don't seem to make any diff in the frame rates . . . . an I have an older computer.

Recently I downloaded a set of "AI" aircraft from Edaviation and within the group, there is an AI E-3, see screenies. It does not have multiple LOD's, but it is reasonably low in polygons, making it the best AI E-3 model up to now. Rick's model is great but not for AI, the other model is the Abacus model, which is very high on polygons and payware.

If anybody knows where I can find a good sound set for a 8 bladed turboprop, please, show me the link. I can only imagine what that sounds like. I'm sure it doesn't sound like anything normal.
If you have a ears like me you know what I mean. I know the way things should sound. So when I hear a strange machine or aircraft fly over, I'm going to run outside and check it out.
.
Prime example, I know turboprops and how they should sound. But when
you get a exotic like a Piaggio flyover, It's like what is that. Sounds like a huge bee and run out sie to see.

Jeff, check for the E-3 here. http://www.edaviation.com/t%C3%A9l%C3%A ... ns_ai.html

Lewis, Oh yes. Thankyou Sir for the link. I'm AI testing right now as I type. Checking data in ACM on both variants are huge. For normal flying with all the tricks in the bag, Rick's is the way to go. For AI ops this new bird from EdAviation is the way to go for now. There is a huge polycount cost between the two. 31,144 compaired to 6,840.
This new unit is very sleek. I also downloaded the Alpha Jet. This looks pretty cool. Nice shade work on the paints for both. For some reason the Alpha is a little bouncey on taxi. Don't know if that's was intended or not.
I'm declaring this statement now for those of you looking at this post.
Think of a polygon as unit of currency. Therefore how expensive is your creation? Not to mentiion the more polys the longer it takes to build it. Not engough polys it looks like a Log

N35W, I tried the E-2 and had the same problem. For a short term solution I tweaked the files a little and used the default Dehavilland as a master. This works adequately until Mike or someone has a chance to do a real FDE. Here are the files.
Now if Graham had time to do some repaints . . .
