Awww no Raptor this year.
Hoping to make it down, was there last year and had a blast. The Snowbirds are pretty cool, I saw them at Jones Beach this past May. Definetly can't hold a candle to the Blues or T-Birds, but cool all the same.

Re: Oceana Air Show
I'm driving up on Sunday, hopefully the rain will hold off, the McEntire show last weekend had a 50% of rain and ended up not raining and having perfect airshow weather. Definitely will be bringing a coat though

Re: Oceana Air Show
Saturday's show was a bust for the most part.
The ceiling stayed around 500-700 feet most of the day.
Most of the Jet performaces didn't happen.
Otto and the Pietsch brothers perfromed alot as well as John Mohr.
The Snowbirds got a 3 ship formation up and did a couple of passes and came back.
Had a strike eagle demo which was good but it was a low show performance.
In the afternoon they were able to get a Super Hornet up from VFA-106 to do a demo and at the show time for teh Blues the clouds lifted up to 1000 feet and so we had a low show from the blues.
Got a few pics that I will post later not a great day for picture taking.

Re: Oceana Air Show
The "buzz" on AirshowBuzz is that today was even worse than yesterday so sounds like you made a good decision Des lol. All well, better luck next year.
I'm itching to see the scedule/performers for Langley and Jone's Beach '10 this year

Re: Oceana Air Show
Matt,
I hear you brother! I was so damn cold Saturday night. I was passed out by 10 and felt like crap on Sunday. Was thinking of going back out but decided against it when it started raining.
Next year's show will be back in September and hopefully it will be better weather.
