Conflict with Just Flight British Airports!

Post by JGaz-UK »

I have installed the MAI Lakenheath & am also using Justflight British Airports. With the JF British Airports East active in the Scenery library the Runway & taxiways of the MAIW airport are not visible! just grass! Deactivate just flights BA East & no problem???

Any idea as to which bgl file I need to remove in JF British Airports East to solve problem? I still wish to use JFBApts for all other airports.

I have removed all other EGUL files in FS9 but still no joy!

I think, but can't be sure, that its Mildenhall from that package that cause the damage.
IF I remember correctly you have to install a third party freeware Moldyhole if you want scenery there as well as our Lakenheath, after zipping up the EGUN files.

Yes. Its on Flightsim.com, search for Mildenhall, its by Matt Magner. That doesn't stamp over the MAIW LN.

In the package support thread there is a explanation on how to get UK2000 EGUN working with MAIW Lakenheath.

Re; MAIW Geilenkirchen slight problem With the Afcad file “MAIW_AFX_ETNG_CUSTOM “
Aircraft vanishing after landing. I used Lee Swordy. AFCAD editor to save a standard AF2.bgl
Which solved the problem. (Is AFX for FSX? I’m still with FS9)

AFX is for FS9 and FSX. There are a couple of reasons why AFX is used the main one being that it can build in excludes, rather than have a separate file, but if you open the file with Afcad they will be lost as afcad doesn't understand the code.

Nobody had any issues like that in testing, which runway were you getting those issues, and what mod did you make?

There were parked AWACS aircraft Visable, but the AI aircraft landing on runway 27 just vanished into thin air after touchdown. I adapted the Geilenkirchen ETNG from JFlts Traffic 2005 which was almost identical & everything works fine.
