Static Aircraft question

Post by thugz »

Gents being new at it I was wondering if anyone could tell me the procedure and what software I should use to install Static Aircraft on an airfield/base? My first project would be Anapolis Ab in Brazil where i would like to add a few Mirage 2000.
Thanks for your answers

Just program some AI aircraft.
They will be better looking and easier on frame rates than a scenery model.

Hi Dale,

The tutorial that comes with Ttools is very easy to follow. Also there is a link in all of our package readme files to the download site.

Actually, such a project is a little more complex than that, as using an AI aircraft will require that you have dedicated parking for the two a/c and a modest flight plan that has the two a/c take off and land after a short circuit of the airfield in the middle of the night local time. It means that you will have to also learn how to place the custom parking spaces and code them to be dedicated to your two a/c. Use AFCAD for that purpose. It can be found the same way as TTools mentioned above. Read the manuals for each of the programs, and if you need help, you will get it here. It is really a good, simple project to begin learning on. Have fun!
