Problems with Firefox 3.5.2

Anyone else having issues with the latest version of FF??

Ever since I installed the new version, my browser runs like crap, hangs up on certain sites and FF runs constantly in the background gobbling up ALL of my computer's spare memory.

I have since rolled back to the last version of 3.0 which is 3.0.13 but it will only be supported for another 6 months.

Anyone else having the same problems?

Nope it runs superbly here.

Try a clean install with the portable version http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable as its portable it doesn't add anything to your registry, so you can test it stand alone and just delete it afterwards if you like.

You can then see if its firefox 3.5.2 or your current installation that's the issue.

Well having rolled back to 3.0.13 that's working splendidly. Must be a system conflict somewhere with something.
