I see you got it. I also see you found the "Great American Rift Valley" feature of FS9. It's one of the known errors that MS never caught before the release of FS9.

Do you know where that is? I ask because on avsim there is a file that fixes 6 errors MS never got to fix. The file name is six_default_fixes.zip

The errors the file fixes are
a 15,000 ft hole error at Millwood Lake near Glenn Winchester airport (2AR6)
a 11,500 ft hole error at Stockton Lake near Stockton Mun (MO3)
a big hill near Memphis error.
floating runways at Davis airport (KMKO)
the Girdwood river 'cliffs' near Girdwood airport (AQY)!
a 100,000+/60,000 ft chasm/spire near Kamarang (SYKM)

The area is at Stockton Lake near Stockton Mun (MO3) The coordinates are N37. 37.72 W93.49.27. If you tag along on the MAIW flight plan on Friday at 9:50 AM from KSZL to KFSM it will take you right over the top of it. It is a great FS9 anomaly. It makes for a nice screenshot, and is a lot of fun trying to fly in and out of. Enjoy!

UFO?

@Larry_12N:

Your screenshots peak my curiousity/interest, so I flew the same route, except I flew from KFSM-KSZL (HDG: 005 @ 5500ft), to see if I would get the same "Great American Rift Valley," but I didn't. While in flight, to my surprise I observed a strange object at approximately 4600 ft (UFO?), roughly due east. Has anyone else seen this? ... SEE SCREENSHOTS :? :shock:
