Thank you for posting these. I contributed a little to that package (Wrote Gripen FPs and added a few more legs for the Hawks IIRC) so it's great to see it again.

Seems you are missing the weapons texture for the Gripens and Hawks.

Sorry Tango I can't help you there but I remember seeing "Canopus" when I was first posted to Boscombe-Down in 97. She sat on a HAS apron close to the main ramp looking rather sorry for herself. At that time XV208 the C130 W2 better know as Snoopy was also there and still flying with the Meteorological Research Flight. Both gone now but Snoopy has a new role as A400M Testbed at Marshall of Cambridge.

If you look at the original extracted package.
They should be in the main MSFS texture folder.
Place them in the same one for FS2004 or FSX.
I.e. not in the aircraft texture folder, but the games main texture folder.
If that fails they can be placed in each aircrafts texture folder.

For FSX, you need to put the weapons texture in each "aircraft texture" folder.

Ah that would be why it wasn't working, problem sorted
btw does that go for all of the MAIW textures in the texture folders or just the SAAF one?

Are the canopy files
MAIW_canopy_clear
and
MAIW_canopy_smoked?
and if so, are there any others and which aircraft files do these need to go into? Sorry for writing like a numbskull but I'm far from 100% sure what I'm doing.

I beg to differ. None of my weapons textures are in the aircraft texture folders, they're in the 'root' texture folder and show up perfectly well.

Why does my system always work differently from others-it's only a clean FSX install. Grrrrrrrr This is annoying.
Pardon my outburst. I'll just find the SAAF texture and do that at least.
