Hickham Movements

Post by Aussie »

Hey All,
Am new to this forum, directed over from Alpha India forums, and this looks like the perfect place where someone can help me. Im after the more 'scheduled' movements, especially Hickham C-17 etc, like the one that flies to Australia each week. Am aware it sometimes comes from March AFB, have the civil part of HNL working fairly well and would like to add some military as well. Will be great when the fsdreamteam HNL is out. Im big on making my own flight plans rather than downloading packages. Any help on any service would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Aussie...I read your post here and over at the AIG forums and I'm not sure what you are asking for. Can you ask your question in another way?

Thanks :)

sounds like he is just asking how to make his own flightplans for the PHNL C-17s. He knows how to make flightplans, but doesnt know how to make aircraft lists and airports list? Anywhere close aussie?

I read this and assumed he knew how to do it. I don't know :)

Sorry end of a long day when I posted, im very familiar with AI just enjoy making my own and would like to add the C-17's to HNL. Im aware that at least once a week a C-17 flies HNL-Richmond-Alice Springs-Richmond-Brisbane-HNL, its like a scheduled flight. Im interested to know are there similar ones from HNL that depart on the same day every week, maybe through Guam and the Pacific ? I enjoy having my sim operate to as close to real-life as possible rather than make ficticious flightplans myself.

Again apologies for the confusion, hope this is written a bit easier to understand, like I said dont need any help with how to add AI or flightplans, just departure times and days they fly in real life.

Thanks

I see what you are saying. Well, the truth is we write the plans with an eye towards realism. If we know of a schedule, we may write that out (if it is open source) or write something similar so as not to compromise op-sec. What we also always do is write flightpmans to destinations that are known...perhaps from airliners.net or fencecheck or any number of a dozen sources.

That being said, I am not sure if there are any real sources from that post that visit here.

Thanks for the replies re question, thought I may try my luck and see if any knew, but always had the security thing in the back of my mind as well. Might have to break with tradition and download a MAIW release, or otherwise risk having a lone C-17 flying to and from Australia once a week (my only known flight !)
