I just wanted to post a few pics of the AT-6 mainly as a thank you to Ray Parker who helped me a lot with the texturing. Check out the helmets on the Navy aviators and the Marine student or front-seater. That's being creative!
Its the painters like Ray and Graham that make these aircraft come alive. There are others out there too; I'm not forgetting you. These guys all deserve a big thank you for their contributions.
Also like the Trojan T-28 and the Cessna L-19 Bird Dog in the background.....
Actually, the T-28 is 99% done; just got to work out some little niggles. The O-1/L-19 is LOD-1 only at the moment. Got to get it far enough along for a texture and an FDE. I'm trying to finish up the F-5's right now, though. Unfortunately, there are not many of us clamoring for the older stuff. (but that doesn't mean if you clamor, it'll get done quicker )
Someone needs to paint them up in the Aeroshell Team colors! And then do a shiny bare aluminum version with reflective qualities, although I think that requires a separate reflective model.
It would be nice to have some older prop planes (other than the infamous C-130 and the like) coming out of this place here. Texans are still very much active despite the fact that it's an old aircraft.
I've got a couple of pic of some early L-19's if anyone is thinking of doing paints.

The area codes for their contact numbers are in Forida, Louisiana, and Alabama. One of the codes is around the Daytona, FL area so my guess would be that would be as good a spot as any to base flight plans. I think they perform all over the U.S. but their schedule shows heavy in the S.E. part. (my country )
thanks for that jake and victory, i did email them last week telling them my plans and sent some pics, but i've not heard nothing yet.
if all fails i will base them at KDAB daytona beach, and pick 7 destinations from there airshow schedule, or any destination requests post them here i will plan the first 7 how's that sound.?
Looked up their N numbers and owner Alan Henley is based in Birmingham AL. Also flightaware has a recent flight posted for N791MH. So, one would think KBHM would be right.
That probably is right Dustoff. I know Alan Henley is one of the primary pilots (and is out with an injury right now - something about a piece of playground equipment breaking). In my own sim, I'll probably put them at KDAB or KPFN because they are in areas I visit a lot. (Depending on where Ray sends them )
BTW, does anyone remember seeing a display team "water-skiing" AT-6's? Seems like there was a vid somewhere. Seems like they from S.A. or Ozz...
