AFCAD for MCAS El Toro

Post by Fastair »

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anybody knows of an AFCAD for this airfield please ? I have searched the usual sites but no joy. Or if anybody has one that they would be willing to share please.
Many thanks in advance....

Looks like there is one on AVSIM. El Toro is below sea level so the base causes problems in FS9. For that reason, it has been largely ignored.

Here's what I put together. You'll need MAIW_ABO.bgl from the MAIW Object Library for the hangars. The control Tower is from John Stinstrom's Cecil Field scenery. If you don't have Cecil, then just pull out KNZJ_excl_tower.bgl and KNZJ_tower.bgl to return to the default tower.

Mike- I think you're referring to El Centro.

Mike, as long as you don't find yourself laying in the sauce it should be a recoverable situation.

Whats wrong with bathing in Ketchup?

Well for one thing that's an awful lot of chips needed, (fries - for our US readers), a logistical nightmare for most catering facilities.

Fastair, I'm glad to help.
