I still have military ANG AI flying out of Richmond VA, but cannot find anything about them on the web. Can anyone confirm that
they have finished or moved base ?

Virginia ANG has transitioned to F-22's and moved ops to Langley AFB. About two years ago, I believe.

"6/22/2007 - RICHMOND, Va. (AFPN) -- The Virginia Air National Guard's 192nd Fighter Wing has become the first Air National Guard unit in the country to fly the F-22 Raptor. The transition from the F-16 Fighting Falcon to the F-22 took place June 20.

More than 20 pilots in the wing are trained to fly the F-22 and a growing number of the wing's full-time and traditional status Air Guardsmen are working at Langley Air Force Base, Va., changing the face of the Virginia ANG. Langley is home to the active-duty 1st Fighter Wing, the first Air Force unit to fly the F-22."

Here is some more info on the 192nd FW and Richmond IAP from global security

"In its 2005 BRAC Recommendations, DoD recommended to realign Richmond International Airport AGS, VA. It would Distribute the 192d Fighter Wing’s F-16s to the 132d Fighter Wing, Des Moines IAP AGS, IA (six aircraft); 482d Fighter Wing Homestead ARB, FL (three aircraft) and to backup inventory (six aircraft). Richmond IAP AGS real property accountability would transfer to the Department of the Army. The 192nd Fighter Wing’s manpower would associate with the 1st Fighter Wing. Realign Des Moines International Airport Air Guard Station, IA. The F-16 aircraft currently assigned to the 132nd Fighter Wing at Des Moines are redistributed to the 180th Fighter Wing, Toledo Express Airport Air Guard Station, OH (nine aircraft) and 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa International Airport Air Guard Station, OK (six aircraft).
"

Richmond IAP is still home to the 2-224 Aviation Battalion (Assault), Alpha and Bravo Companies flying the UH-1 and the UH-60L.

All UH-1 are gone now as well. May have to check/update my ANG stuff as I did with the 177th AS, ND ANG or stay retro!

global security is a little out dated. did some more digging and alpha company upgraded to the UH-60L also. They now have a total of 30 H-60's

Was VA ANG part of a MAIW package? If so which one?
