Airshow

Post by lewis »

My version of the Airshow. With some new models out, this is how it may look. Not all demo teams sended all the acft's for economy reasons, but just enough to say "Present". Enjoy.

Last two. Thanks to all the modelers, painters and the planers for their hard work, their contribution has let us enjoy FS like never before. :smt006

And before anybody asks, no, the Canadair "Snowbirds" is not AI, but could be a hint, anyone?

Yes, I have it, but if the file is not so big, I can attach it to this thread, if administrators let me do it.

Ok, the file is 1075 Kb.
Question for the Admin, can I attach it here or is it too big?

I think he is referring to the movie "Full Metal Jacket". Last time I watched it must be about 10 years ago  Anyway, IIRC there was a scene when some soldiers approached a prostitute. When a "dark-colored-skin" (is that the political correct term?) soldier asked her for some "time together" she said: "Too buku!" being afraid of "his" size.

You may recall that Viet Nam was for many years a French colony (called Indochina). Many of the peoples of Viet Nan spoke at least some French, and passed on phrases etc to the American soldiers during our time there. Merci boucoups (probably NOT spelled correctly - means: thanks very much) was cut down to boucoups (pronounced bow koo but later became boo koo) to indicate any form of too many/too much etc by both the native and the GI speaker.
