Great paints, time to go retro and reopen NAS Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL.

While stationed at NAS Jax, I remember the Royal Thai A-7's coming thru the NADEP facility prior to being delivered.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. :D

Just so you'll know, the FDE is still in development, hence the slightly out contact points. We hope to have that corrected soon. The contact points you see in the picture were done hastily by me. "Magic" Mike is now on the case. Any aircraft that sits down toward the tail is extremely hard to get to sit right, take-off right, and land right. The same is true for tail draggers although they have their own issues. :)

The SLUF has always been one of my favorites I think because it looks so different from the other jets of that era (except of course the Crusader).

Will there be a model with folding wings that can be used on carriers?

I know this thread is a bit old, but I was just wondering if there are any updates on the A-7`s progress. With all the retro Phantoms, Tomcats etc, this would make a great addition.

Jake has disappeared from the scene. We do not know what his status currently is.

My guess. real life got in the way. Happens pretty regularly around here.
