I was able to work several AN124s over the last couple of years. The last time they came threw the only (non flight deck) member of the load crew that spoke english was the crew lead, their was a older crew member that you could tell the rest of the crew looked up to. although I could not speak to him we were able to work the aircraft just by pointing and showing each other. found out later that night this crew member used to be a senior NCO working at an air base in East Germany (MIG27s) at the same time I was working Eagles at Bitburg, In the end I met a new friend that used to be in the "bad guy" airforce but neither of us can pronounce the others name properly.
