Love the false canopy. Did you fly this AI model or just with flightplans for pics?

OK, as a Phanatic I was going to like them anyway but I am impressed by the sheen on the aircraft as well as the general painting.

Hi all,
I'm having dramas getting these fine aircraft showing in my sim. I have edited the cfg's etc, and my ANG F-4's show up with no problem. I am parking these at Miramar, so I figure they just use the previous F-14 parking codes....... Is there something obvious with these paints that I'm missing please ? Parking radius etc ?
Any help gratefully received, many thanks..
Regards,
Firebird

If you set the aircraft type parm to 0, using aired or some other tool, do you see the aircraft in the FS9 menu?

PM a copy of the aircraft.cfg that you have placed these VF-301 machines in. I have an idea but I need to check something, also if you can squeeze a snapshot of that that folder that they are in it would be useful.

I updated my VF-301 textures a little bit:
new in this version:
- leading-edge slats of the F-4S
- reduced shine, worn appearance
- dirt effects

I have to admit I do love the 'S'. The version with the slats is definitely the version the RAF should have bought rather than the unslatted version. Although a 30mm Aden in each wing root would have made it even better.
Looking forward to the update.
