Hi All,
at the moment I trying to convert to FSX and using MAIW AI packages.
Has anybody tried using MAIW AI with UK2000 VFR Airfields vol 1, vol 2 and RAF Scotflight Airfields in FSX??
If so what afcads did you use, MAIW afcads or the FSX scenery afcads or did you have to create your own for each of the RAF airfields?
Any help or advice will be grateful
Dave
MAIW afcads and UK FSX add-on scenery
Re: MAIW afcads and UK FSX add-on scenery
Use the FSX add-on ones NOT the MAIW ones. This is so that the afcad actually fits the scenery
The scotflight scenery should have enough parking spaces, I don't know about the UK2000 (though I don't have either). If they don't, there might be a custom afcad on flightsim or avsim for them that does.
Hope this helps

I'm not familiar with the Scotflight afcads, and I've only got one or two of the UK2000 afcads. My guess is that these afcads may need their parking spots re-coded for optimal performance. But as tango234 says, I would still use them instead of the ones provided in the MAIW packages, as they are designed specifically to fit the scenery.
I would then use the MAIW afcad as a guide for re-coding the parking spots in the afcads that come with the scenery.
