Red Flag 10-3

Post by MIKE JG »

The Aussies have arrived at Nellis for their participation in the latest RF exercise. This one's a 3 week event.

Should be a good one. Keep an eye on Flickr and Fencecheck for daily photo updates. There have already been some good shots of the latest participants. Here are the units taking part this time:

Red Air
F-16, Nellis AFB, Nev.
F-15, Nellis AFB

Escort
F-22A, Holloman AFB, N.M.

Interdiction
B1B, Dyess AFB, Texas.
F-15E, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (U.S. unit)
F-18, Austrailia RAAF
F-18, MCAS Beaufort, S.C.
GR-9 Harrier, RAF Cottesmore, U.K.

Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses
EA-6B, Whidbey Island NAS, Wash.
EA-6B, DC
EC-130, Davis Monthan AFB, Ariz.
F-16CJ, Shaw AFB, S.C.

Command and Control
E-2, Pt. Magu, Calif.
E-3, Tinker AFB, Okla.
E-8, Robins AFB, GA.
RC-135V, Offutt AFB, Neb.

Aerial Refueling
KC-135, Fairchild AFB, Wash.
KC-135, Lincoln ANG, Neb

Should be some good pics and videos coming out of this one.

The real question is, which one of you is gonna write the flight plans to simulate this one??
