USS Enterprise (CVN-79): Petition

All,
I hope this isn't to political and if it is (MOD) I am sorry.
Below is an article about a petition to have the next carrier named Enterprise. The current Enterprise I believe is going to be decommissioned in 2013. The petition needed 2000 signatures and is now well over it.
Also is a .pdf file about how our Naval Ships are named.
