Post by scott1 »

I had windows vista on my computer and upgraded to windows 7. Now I can't add any scenery to FSX from the addon scenery folder any thoughts would be most helpful. Thanks Scott1

When you say you can't what exactly is the problem? I seem to remember on AIG that somebody had an issue with no folders showing up, and somebody had a way to get around that.
Is this on the right lines, if so it might be worth searching on there for the problem.

Unless or until somebody comes i on here, have a check on AIG. It does sound familiar.

Had the same problem before I uninstalled FSX

It's a bug in FSX and the solution is quite simple.

In stead of having the scenery added to the list you see the Scenery and Texture folder, right? Now just click on the white area around the folders and your problem should be solved.

That worked thanks for the help. I was afraid I was going to have to reinstall FSX.

I'm glad you asked for help before reinstalling, because that wouldn't have helped you

With the ACES team gone, I doubt if we'll ever see a fix for that...
