I'm curious to know if anyone has seen any work for TH-57s at NAS Whiting Field (South).
The static TH-57s in my photo are part of the Whiting Field package by Jim Dhaenens.
The one hover-taxiing is my hand-painted Jet Ranger that comes with TrafficX by Just Flight.
I started tinkering around with NOLF Pace a bit. The FSX version is a big grass field with a grass runway down the middle. My goal is to somehow get AI helicopters to interactively fly to the landing pads within each quadrant of Pace or at least 1 square per directly North-South and East-West. There are also the auto-rotation lanes for practicing 180 turn to autos and 90 turns to autos. Maybe the approach mode in ADE can help with simulating these sort of approaches?

Great scenery JD did, just for FSX users. You could do something with HeliTraffic to get them to hit the lanes correctly. I have some very basic plans using the default B206 in USN TH-57 and USA TH-67 colors in FS9.
Here is a great info site for the South Whiting ops, although I wish we could get the AI to fly VFR course rules to and from stage fields:

Thanks for the reply and link to MarineGouge.
It's amazing how much the "gouge" has evolved since when I went through HTs. There used to be a massive amount of photo-copied stuff on the streets and if you went to Office Depot in Pensacola you could ask for a VT or HT package to be reproduced for a small price.

My attempts to build anything for Flightsim with regards to Marine and Navy Aviation pipeline has been hit and miss. Sometimes I start a package of AI flights/scenery then I have that bad taste creep back up and I turn it off. There were some administrative challenges with how the Naval standard score translated from Primary in T-37s back to CNATRA pipelines. I do have Heli Traffic and just might build some Course Rules with it. It would really be cool to get AI helicopters to do the clearing turns prior to take-off.
