Afcad Issue

Post by BadPvtDan »

So, I am looking at my Las Vegas setup and foe some reason it appears that a default, or other afcad is taking precedence over my ADE file. The ADE file lines with my scenery perfectly but the aircraft are parked all catty-whompus. I can even see some wayward taxi lines. The weird things is that I can't find another afcad. ScanAFD finds nothing. Even Afcad sees nothing beyond the default. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.

You had ScanAFD check ALL your folders, not just the addon scenery folder?

Yup. This is a pretty virgin setup, too.

Can I take it that you don't have AFX, as I find that this displays all AFDs whereas AFCAD doesn't?
Is ACA2005 any use in finding it?

I have AFX but uninstalled it after ADE for FS9 came out. I'll try ACA2005 to see if it shows something.

Ahh, that explains it. I thought it was the Tequila in the OJ, but you know him better than me. :D

I vaguely remember a Creech AFB/Indian Springs Aux AB afcad that I got from avsim (I think) had some kind of tie-in to Nellis - but that was quite a while ago. I wouldn't bet my life on that memory, but it's something you could check.
Why waste 'trons for a snappy signature when I can use this?

I like the way Dan thinks, even if it is the Tequila in the OJ. He must be looking at his signature page and dreaming away.
