Help with alpha channel
Help with alpha channel
I'm trying to make the nose sensor on Nick's AV-8B+ invisible to try and turn it into a FA2 Sea Harrier. I thought all I had to do was paint a black splodge on the alpha channel where the sensor is but it's showing up as reflective chrome effect. Does anyone know what the problem is? I'd appreciate any help.
Re: Help with alpha channel
From my meager understanding from previous posts on this subject, it sounds like the model is set up to use the alpha channel to display reflectivity rather than transparency.clarke123 wrote:I'm trying to make the nose sensor on Nick's AV-8B+ invisible to try and turn it into a FA2 Sea Harrier. Re: Help with alpha channel
Mike is correct.
The alpha channel controls either transparency or reflectivity.
This is set by the modeller and cannot be changed without a re-compile.

Re: Help with alpha channel
Oh well, I'll just have to ignore it. Thanks for the help.
