Norfolk NATO Festival

Post by maddog65 »

Hey Guys,
Heading down to the Norflolk waterfront next weekend for the NATO festival and they are going to be showcasing the following beers. I have't tried any of them before and was wondering if any of them are any good.

Kronenbourg on tap (France – Most Honored Nation)
Krusovice Imperial (Czech Republic)
Tucher Helle Weizen (Germany)
Aldaris Porteris (Latvia)
Okocim “OK” (Poland)
Fuller’s Extra Special Bitter (United Kingdom)

Well we used to call Fullers ESB something else, LBD - Liquid Brain Damage.

Try it if you dare.

Steve,
Thanks for the advice. I'll have to choose wisely at $5 a pint.

Well in that case, I suggest taking only $15. That should see you off nicely :D .

Had a great time at the NATO festival. Had one of the Fuller's it was ok and had one of the Tucher Helle Weizen which wasn't my cup of tea. Then went over to the Slovakia booth (My son was a student diplomat for Slovakia) and I meet his mentor who gave me a bottle of Golden Pheasant beer. Much better plus it was free. I parked myself for the rest of the afternoon at thier booth. If you all get a chance to go to a Tattoo do. I had a great time last night.
enjoy this little clip from last night of the Massed Pipes and Drums of the Canadian Forces and Dancers.

I am a regular to the Hogs back brewery near Farnham, Surrey. There they have a beer called wobble in a bottle. I only had half a pint & my face went numb. Its 9 odd percent, so quite strong.
