Voice packs

Post by scottr5213 »

I had to reinstall edit vp and I was wondering if there was a way to get the vp's for MAIW packages without downloading everything again.

Thx Scott

In your main FS9 directory you will have a MAIW folder in there will be all the voicepacks from each package you have auto installed.

There isn't necessarily an "easy" way. Like Mark is saying, if you've kept all the Military AI Works folders from the packages, they will still be in there.

If you know which packages you need them from, we might be able to just send you a package with the required VP mods.

If you need them for almost all the packs, well that might cost you.....

Unfortuntaly I dont keep them :( After I install the packages I copy the vp's to a temp folder then install them. I found out why I was having so many problems, it seems that when I did the up-grade my edit voicepack didnt work ref: http://www.militaryaiworks.com/newforum ... f=1&t=7897 so... whats it going to cost me.

Beer and not the cheap stuff either!!! :smt003

Start listing the packs you need VP's for and we'll start getting you caught up.

Better yet, maybe list a generic email addy that we can send them to so we don't clog this thread up with attachments.

Well one way to start would be to visit Martin's site where you can view the individual package Readme files without having to download the actual packages. With that info, you can see exactly which VP mods you need.

Well fire away when you get them figured out, I can post larger attachments thanks to my super duper moderator powers so I can probably get most of them to you via this thread.

I think the easiest way to do it is if you could make a backup of your vp and send it to me.... if you dont mind.

I'm thinking that this could be useful for me too. If it were posted here, I would certainly grab it...

I have trouble adding the custom/add-on voicepack files, as my evp is a bit dodgy. I'm guessing that if I used a main FS voicepack file provided by someone with all the add-on callsigns already included, I would still be able to use evp to change to the international (vs American) phraseology, without losing the custom/add-on callsigns included in the newly provided main voicepack.

Is this correct?

Cheers,

Dan
