Re: Freeware Mitsubishi F-2 on Avsim
Just noticed that, but I was under the impression all of the FS-KBT models are free? I have the P-3 as well, but might have to get this one if nothing else for the custom gauges. Great paint scheme on the F-2!

Not a bad plane at all!...really wish those guys made a Falcon. Not to be a total cheap-skate, but I'm overall fairly disappointed with freeware F-16's but will never bring myself to buy one.

You can't go wrong with the Kirk O. line of Vipers, and model updates for the Blk 20 and Blk 50 panel from these guys: http://www.simscape.fr/.

I'm honestly not that impressed with the Kirk plane...the interior (VC) that is. Compare it to another freeware F-18 by Daisuke Yamamoto or the F-2 mentioned above, it has has a ways to go. I cant complain that much because its free...but I'm just surprised that for such a multinational plane more people haven't improved or attempted very many others.

Kirk O also did a cracking job on the Mirage F1 (with good cockpit) & Sabre. Not seen anything from him in a long time, Is he still modeling?

The last I heard from Kirk earlier in the year he wasn't modeling. I had just put him in contactdavid lock wrote:Kirk O also did a cracking job on the Mirage F1 (with good cockpit) & Sabre. Not seen anything from him in a long time, Is he still modeling?
with some folks with the SAAF who wanted to use his F1 as part of an ATC simulator driven
by FS2004. I'll send a hello email to see what he's up to.

Thanks Frank, looks like he is doing alright for himself at the moment. It would be nice to see if he has anything in the pipeline for the future?
