Very true, and very nice, although I think in reality that the grey's would be darker.
I would also suspect that the amount of white would be reduced, i.e no white ensign and the sqn markings toned down, but hey it is still fantasy.

Lovely, here's hoping it becomes a reality. I've never liked or trusted JSF and I'd be so glad if they cut funding for it.

Well they will not need either when they cut funding for the carriers.

Why can’t they keep the colours in the bloody paint pots and just leave them grey

We had the defence minister at Portsmouth the other day and he was on local TV saying that the Foreign Office wanted power projection as part of its policy. I'm reading this that the carriers will still be going a head, the money saved on the F-35B (bloody awful a/c!) could be re-routed to the carrier project. I wonder if the RAF will replace the Tonka with F-18s so they can operate off the carriers too. If they do scrap the F-35B I guess the ski jump will go too. Of course the Rafale is also in the frame and its built in the EU.

Just change the badge on the tail from what they had last year Fly 100 to Fly 150 that should just about be right for getting it into service
