Yeah, I have been quietly waiting for this. He is becoming quite an accomplished modeller.

Being a bit egoistic: I hope he's keeping his hobby alive.

Russian & Kazakh paints here:
http://www.avsimrus.com/f/fs2004-ai-tra ... 33059.html
I will do some Kazakh flightplans (alongside the Tu-95 for the Russian AF) in the next few days. If anyone knows patrol routes or practice locations for them I can make them more realistic...

SBAI MiG-31 released!
As per title, get it on the SBAI website (sbai.ucoz.ua - it's written in cyrillic but you can translate it with Google Translate)... also a couple of good quality repaints are available:
mig31_ussr_kaz.zip on Avsim

Re: Upcoming: SBAI MiG-31
That site is quite a trial. Took me 8 tries to get the d/l. D/L speed was slow and then stalled and server reset. Here is a direct link to the download. http://www.sbai.ucoz.ua/load/0-0-0-17-20
Persistence paid off on nr.8 try!

edit: well I also d/l the AI-SU-27 Family v2 and that went much better. 1 try hiccuped, but 2nd worked fine.
