If aircraft these days are nothing more than glorified delivery systems for smart weapons, then this sort of aircraft is the way to go. Slower, quieter, and longer endurance would all be welcomed in the sort of "war" that's being waged on scattered groups of fighters in Asia these days.
Plus it would give the UPT grads hope of not having to fly a UAS right out of training......
