sbai_su30mkm_tudm.zip @ AVSIM

Search for Michael Pearson and you will find a lot of new Mig-29 and Su-27/Su-30 repaints.

Peruvian AF MiG-29 for Mike Pearson's repaints
sbai_mig29_fap.zip

Afcad for Chiclayo (SPHI) included. Also included in the flightplans are the stored aircrafts, which are parked together in a secondary area.
Please edit your aircraft.cfg entries with ATC_PARKING_CODES=STOR in order to see these latter in place.
I strongly recommend you to install the MAIW Peruvian AF package if you don't have it, as it features the afcads of some of the airports visited by the MiGs.

I'm currently doing the fp's and a couple of afcads for the Algerian air force. Just done the SU30s. Just thought i'd save you some work. :D

Does anyone know which Algerian Mig29's are based where. I know there are 3 or 4 bases for them but don't know what aircraft belong to which squadron. Thanks in advance.

Great! I've already done the Su-24s and the MiG-25s, so we could even think about a joint release or a single package!
I was wondering to make some quick afcads too!
Here are the Algerian bases
http://www.scramble.nl/dz.htm

If you click on "Database" you'll get a search engine. Just insert the registration and you'll get the squadron to which the aircraft belongs (if available). If it isn't (or you just can't find a different information source) just allocate the aircrafts randomly!

and here are the coords of the airports
DAAQ,N35* 31.41',E2* 52.72',2133
DAAK,N36* 32.64',E2* 52.50',335

Like the idea of a joint package.

There are already FPs for the Su24/Mig25/Mig29 and various other Algerian AF aircraft on AVSIM along with some AFCADs. Search for: ai_mig25.zip. There are no Su30 plans, but I'm just adapting the Mig23 plans instead. Not ideal, but gets you going.

Cheers for the Peruvian plans James!

Great!
Thanks for the link! There are all the Afcads needed!
The flightplans look very well done too and there seem to be all the necessay regs for the Su-24s.
II'll post my new flightplans too if anybody wants to take a look though, I'll wait for Shaggy's plans to be ready!
Another detail in order to avoid duplicates  : I think all of us are making the flightplans for the remaining aircrafs, so who does and what?
We still have
Eritrea (MiG-29 and Su-27)
Angola (Su-27)
Sudan (Mig-29)
Ethiopia (Su-27)
Azerbaijian (MiG-25 and 29, Su-24)
Turkmenistan (M25-29)
Uzbekistan (M29, S24-27)
Serbia (M-29 - retro? - perhaps Miljan wants to work on them?)

I still hope Mike will release the Indian Su-30s as well, it would quite good fun to make the flightplans as those aircrafts even ended up to Nellis!

I briefly tested the Afcad included in the package suggested by regan123. When I get to DAAQ the game crashes to desktop once loaded. Is anybody experiencing the same issue? I think it depends on the afcad as everything works well when I remove this.

I think there might be a problem with the textures for the Algerian AF Mig-25s. If I choose to view them in the aircraft selection screen in FS9 I get an immediate CTD. Not at all sure how to solve this one. Any ideas?

The textures for the AlgerianAF MIg25s have been supplied as DXT1 files with no alpha. Converting them to DTX3 with an alpha solves the crash problem. Should solve both your problems.

@James

I was thinking of looking at Uzbekistan next, but not sure when I can get them done.

If you look on FlightSim, there are already plans for the Serbian AF (don't have the filename at the moment).

I've already done:
Angloa
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Azerbaijan- not the SU24's though

These all go to a number of european air bases. I know it doesn't happen in real life but i like the the thought of these airforces at Leeuwarden and Akrotiri etc..

You'll need afcads for all of them. For Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan you'll need to type in the respective country into Avsim.ru. e.g the package for Uzbekistan is called "all Uzbekistan." it's the same for the rest. For Angola you'll need an afcad for Luanda. There is one but needs some work.

Excellent!
Thanks for sharing your works! Feel free to post them here!
Regan, take your time, of course, no need to hurry, there are more important things to do before compiling flightplans!
I'll set the Mig-25 textures at DTX3 later when I get home!

The Migs and Sukhois are finished. I've had to randomise the Migs as i could only find a few serials.
Do you want me to upload them now or wait till you've sorted out the Foxbats?

@James

Thanks James. I've converted them to DXT3 and added a blank alpha channel and that's fixed the problem. :)
