Evolve Ai, Henry Tomkiewicz, and Dee Waldron

Post by phantomfreak »

Several questions. Does anyone have the evolve ai dc-10 models? AVSIM doesn't seem to have all of them. I was also wondering what happened to Henry's and Dee's websites, it seems they are unavailable anymore? Page not available on internet explorer. I was looking for the cessna 172 package if anyone has it.

Thanks,

The DC10-10 is available at AI Malcontent, the DC10-40 is in here and I think most of the others are in some WoAI packages.

Henry hasn't been around for a long long time. I guess the only reason his site was still up is because it was already paid for. The Cessna package is payware but I have no idea what its legal status is now that Henry seems to be gone from the Flightsim scene...

Looks like you can still purchase Henry's Cessna package at the flightsim pilot shop here http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info ... cts_id=613. I purchased it over a year ago and IMHO is worth the $16. As Tirithon stated, not sure of the status of the package, but for the price a GREAT add-on.

Dee can still be found, occasionally, at RetroAI. I asked Dee, about two years ago, if he had communicated with Henry...

Code: Select all

Hi Jason,
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just never noticed to somebody had actually left me a message here!

Sorry to say, I don't have any information about ole' Henry. Nothing at all. Its a complete mystery to me whats become of him. Its kind of odd though, that his website continues...

Dee
So, it seems that Henry is done with FS and even some of his closest collaborators have no idea where he went. Pretty sad.

Thanks for the link, needed the -40 for the Omega tankers package and did not trust the avsim.ru site.

I get quite a bit of stuff from Avsim.ru. I've never experienced a single problem with anything I've downloaded from there.

I had a feeling that Henry's site would go away someday, along with Dee's Community site. I downloaded all of their base models to my backup drive a while back.

I have all the zip files from both sites. I also have a ton of repaints that I have downloaded for all of them, but no paintkits that I am aware of. Some of them have a blank texture, that I understood could be used for repainting. Someone in to paints might be able to correct me if I am wrong.

Just found a new HTAI site open! The forums are still down, but Henry's and Dee Waldron's models are available.

Update your links for the new site...

Hello everyone and Happy Easter!
Sorry if I re-open this thread... I downloaded the file in the link kindly provided by Jason, but the model in the DC-10-30B folder is missing. Has anybody got it?
Thanks!
