I have a huge amount of respect for CW5 Sowell, that is an impressive amount of service.

I certainly couldn't! At 32 years I'd had enough and signed off. Well, clicked off, as it's all online now;

"Are you sure you want to resign?"
Click Yes or No.

"Are you really sure you want to resign?"
Click Yes or No.

"Are you really, really sure you want to resign?"
Click Yes or No. :roll:

When I finally broke out after 33 years 2 months and 5 days I didn't regret a thing.

Mind you, it's not as if I've really left the Army, working on an "Army" Squadron teaching servicemen and women to fly it feels like I'm still in some days :lol:
"We attack tomorrow under cover of daylight! It's the last thing they'll be expecting ... a daylight charge across the minefield .."
