US Defence Budget

Just read the 2008 US Defence Budget, thats just been put forward.
$481 BILLION. My god thats a lot of money.
The UK Government are asking for a whip round for our 2008 Defence Budget.

I believe I read somewhere that the US spends more on the military than the rest of the world combined.

You got to pay us retirees something.....

Our military likes expensive toys also.... like billion dollar aircraft carriers and stealth bombers.....
