179th Airlift Wing at Mansfield appears to have gotten a couple of C-27J's already. They've been beating up the pattern at KMFD and some of the other local fields this past month.
I had no idea they would be getting them so soon. Notice though that the aircraft only say "Army" on them, no USAF markings at all.

Interesting, Fargo is supposed to be getting some as well. They had one here not too long ago.

They look good, surprised they didn't just mark them with a small "stars and bars" vice the US ARMY, looks like only a select few Army dudes will fly them.

Actually they are transferred from the Army, and the Air Guard will fly and maintain them; although for the time being it's being done by contract maintenance. I'll get a first hand look when ours arrive later this year.
