A couple of problems arise here.
1. The models aren't made for FSX, they are made in the hope that they are FSX compatible. I don't believe that Nick has FSX so its kinda difficult to be 100% sure when making them.
2. Nick could spend a lot of time upgrading his older models to take into account tricks that he has learned since. The problem would be that the more models he produced the less he would get done. Believe me I have asked him.
He prefers, and believes is more beneficial, that he continues producing more new models rather than updates of old ones. There should be a couple of new ones out within a month.
I understand his logical and have to go along with it, even though I would like to see some updated.
I am sure he would say something to the tune of "never, say never but don't hold your breath".

Just a quick update that the scenery is coming along nicely. Please note that the screens in this thread are FS9 only. I am also creating a FSX version that works in all variants of FSX. I am now also a scenery staff member at UKMIL and the FSX version will be a UKMIL release. For screens/information regarding the FSX version please check out the UKMIL forum.
Cheers
Ian

They are the FSX shots. The 3D objects are exactly the same textures/models except made for FSX. THe ground texture is higher res because FSX will display higher res.

That looks absolutely fantastic!
I was there on Thu last week, parked right there on the bottom left hand corner of the ASP in pic 2. The base is undergoing a major rebuild, half of the ASP is closed off. VASS is right over on the other side of the airfield, so I couldn't figure out why they parked us there.
I wish I'd taken some pics, but I was a bit pre-occupied during the join.
Keep up the good work!

VASS did used to park aircraft on the main ASP alot, not normally Brit Mil aircraft though...royal visitors and visiting fast jets usually got parked there.

not true, we used to park all Brit mil on the ASP, C130's, Hawks, whatever, all went at the far end of the ASP near the BBMF end

Just noticed this comment, They are doing somthing involving another hanger which im sure rocket is aware of that, However invloving the ASP did you go on the day where the spitfire was chasing the typhoon, It may have been somthing to do with that? Not sure just a suggestion incase you model somthing really different
Keep up the work and hope to re-fly from coningsby very soon
