Have you checked:
1) if the titles of the aircrafts in the aircraft.cfg file are the same as the ones in the txt file?
2) if the aircrafts themselves are installed correctly?
3) if the traffic % you have in your sim is not lower than the one used in the flightplans?

OK the Soesterberg schemes I have, but it seems that the Bitburg schemes must have been lost in the avsim hack, unless somebody has the package out there.
I can check the CR problem for you but not the BT unless I get the package.

I gather that you use FSX, therefore I can't use the exact afcad that you use, I am guessing NL2000 v4.

Avsim have a policy of only allowing original authors to re=post, unless specific permission is obtained from the author. It stops people hijacking somebody elses work. It may not seem likely but it has happened to somebody on this forum, on another site, and they are still as mad as hell about it.
What I will do is drop a line to the author if I find out who it is.

Wolfie,
Many thanks for that I will visit BT and set it up either this evening or tomorrow.

OK, I have had a look at CR. I used some freeware out there, that included an afcad. Traffic set to 100%. I used your compiled bgl and the F-15 paints, w/o altering them at all.
These are the issues I found. Firstly the parking, taxiways etc were cutting through the ground. I simple enough cause to find and fix. The default runway is at 0' and the afcad is at 66', the same as the actual airfield. I used ADE9 to create a new height for the airfield and that fixed that.
The afcad I had issues with. It would allow only one aircraft to take off, on 27, another would line up but not move. That cause/fix is still to be resolved. However, that is not the cause of your issues, so I shall leave that.

Now even with the original height issues F-15s showed up there no problem. Like yourself I had run the plans through AIFP and found no issue. I had also run my system through ACA2005 and that too was clean. I will assume that your traffic setting is high enough to pick up the plans.
What I did find was that there were only 4 F-15s there around 10:00 local on Thursday, my random test time. When I checked the plans what I found was that aircraft spent the vast majority of the week away from home base. Including 4 in the US. Another random test time found 2 aircraft on base and they started taxying out.

What I think is that there isn't a problem at all. I think that the plans are fine, its just that the sqn is on a world tour so that it is entirely possible that when you went there the base was empty apart from some visitors.

I believe that the BT plans are by the ame author and it is possible that the same problem occurs there, but there should be some there all the time. I will check later.

Can you confirm that you see other aircraft at CR? The random time I chose had 4x A-10s, 2x Jaguars and an Andover.

The file that Wolfie sent me was AI_F-15'S_BITBURG_AFB.zip. I have double checked and it is not on avsim.
While there is nothing specific to say it, the naming standard and the make up of the package leads me to think that Mark Walsh painted them.

I have sent him a pm to see if he could reload them, if they are his.

OK I have checked the BT bgl.
Again I threw in some freeware BT scenery with afcad. FPLs checked in AIFP, no errors. Checked in ACA2005 and found 31 errors. One duplicate fltsim entries .43 and .50 are both 'F-15C 53FS 84-0002 BT yellow'. 30 schemes not found, including all 25 from the 22TFS. One completely absent Sqn.

Taking this into account when I tried a random time, Wednesday day time, I found 30 aircraft on the ground. So taking the missing aircraft into account and the ones that are inevitably on land away I think that has pretty much got everything covered.

All in all using the stock installations with no mods I was able to see traffic at both places. Not as much as I would have expected, but both shortfalls are explainable.

If you are not getting any traffic at all, at either, then I would have to look at the afcads next. Again, making the assumption that your traffic percentage is higher.

Does this help, or is their anything else you would like me to check?
