A-10's over Lincolnshire

Post by jaguar1 »

Spent 20 minutes this morning in my back garden watching a pair of A-10's doing strafing runs over Holbeach range. I didn't get any pics as they were too far away for my point and shoot camera. I'm guessing they're deployed from Spangdahlem Air Base. Anyone know for sure if there's a deployment at Lakenheath or elsewhere?

A significant number landed at Lakenheath from Spangdahlem a couple of weeks ago. Don't know when they're due to leave.
