Not really. AFSOC has been buying/leasing Commerical Off the Shelf aircraft for a few years. During my four tours in the sandbox I have seen them fly just about anything with wings :)

Sierra Nevada Corp is just another overpaid contractor leasing aircraft/pilots/instructors to the government...
