MAIW Packages working with WOAI Installer in FSX
I noticed AVSIM and Flight Sim had some MAIW Packages that work with the WOAI Installer , and have no problems . Are there any other packages that work like this that anyone knows of ?
Re: MAIW Packages working with WOAI Installer in FSX
The only ones that work with the WOAI installer are WOAI packages and the earliest MAIW packages that were released through WOAI. THere are no others like that.

One note on the MAIW packs that came for the WoAI installer: IIRC there is a flaw in the Peruvian Air Force package resulting in all those WoA aircraft.cfg [fltsim.x] entries being deleted that models are in the Peruvian pack (e.g. B732). If you install the Peruvian pack make sure you have a backup of all those aircraft.cfg files.

The WoAI is a marvelous piece of programming that we tried to use but it did cause us problems and we couldn't expect the WoAI guys to re-write something that worked perfectly well for them.
That isn't to say that they didn't try to find the problem but they were unable to. This is the only reason we moved away from it. I would strongly urge people to use the manually install those old packages. Removal of them could be far less painful.
Manual install means installing to a temp folder and then moving them to their final resting place.

Re: MAIW Packages working with WOAI Installer in FSX
Keep in mind, using the WOAI installer in FSX only points the installer to the known FSX folders. It doesn't convert the FS9 traffic bgl to the proper day format used in FSX and can cause issues if you have a mix of FS9 and FSX traffic files.
