RAF Wyton (MAIW UK Airfields folder)
Has anyone been having trouble with this scenery? It is causing quit to desktop on my computer. Let me backup by explaining; while working on an afcad for RAF Alconbury, FS9 would quit while loading traffic if I selected that as the starting point. Ok, changed my start location to RAF Mildenhall and flying from there once I would get within sight of the two airfields FS9 would then hangup and/or shutdown. Tried a few different times and days and no change. Removed the afcad for Alconbury, thinking that may be the problem. Started up FS9 again from Mildenhall and once I got very near or on top of Wyton, FS9 froze and quit. Haven't tried removing Wyton yet to see if it may be something else (that will be something for tomorrow).
Thanks,
Jay

Have you checked for duplicate AFCADS? That's usually the culprit as far as crashes where specific airfield are concerned.

Yes, and the only other airport is the stock one for EGUY.

FlightSimManager could probably sort this out for you. It's saved me countless times.
The problem is, it is very hard to find as it's 5+ years old.
If you don't get your problem sorted out I could email you a copy of FSM.

At least I've narrowed it down to not being Wyton. Just flew Mildenhall to Wyton, circled Wyton, then flew to the next apt NW of Wyton and just before I got to EGSP (I think), quit to desktop. Hopefully I'll get it straigtened out.

Turns out it's a traffic file. Just go to narrow it done to which one it is.

Removed the traffic file for the RAF VC.10s and everything worked.
Now just have to find out if it is something within the traffic file or the aircraft folder.

There is a problem with the original pack of VC-10.phantomfreak wrote:Removed the traffic file for the RAF VC.10s and everything worked.

Have a look to its aircraft.cfg, if you have this line:
atc_parking_codes=VC10,L1011
just delete ",L1011" (in every fltsim section)
atc_parking_codes lines doesn't accept codes with more than 4 digits.
Hope this help.

Re: RAF Wyton (MAIW UK Airfields folder)
Please refer to this post on paint shop (Michael Pearsons VC10) a long time ago:
SOLVED!!
The problem with JBAI VC10 was the same with RATS IL76 of the Algerian AF and others..., with the parking entries on the aircraft configuration files.
I changed them to:
atc_parking_types=MIL_CARGO
atc_parking_codes=M003
And then, no more CTD crashes (for now).
