C-26 request

Post by jimrodger »

Hi

Does anyone have usn_c26d_metro.zip by Zak Agresto, it used to be on AVSIM but looks like it went during the big hack.

I've tried contacting him on the only e-mail address I can find, but the address is no longer valid.

It's required to finish off some flightplans for Sigonella.

Many Thanks

Jim

Sorry can't seem to find it either. If you don't have any luck, would you consider doing some paints for the DJC model as USN "D's" or even some TX ANG RC-26's?

New livery without the markings, just the three digit tail number?
Shouldn't be difficult. I'll see what I can fix up this evening.

Also are there some pics of the Texas birds?

The TX ANG birds are standard, but one has a shark mouth, they are stationed down the flightline from my unit and kept hidden most of the day, I only see them when they take the active.

There are some pics linked from the wiki C-26 page for the Navy ones.

Five Navy C-26's sent to you, Jim.
I'll check Graham's paints and see if any of the Texas ones are included. If not I'll see what I can produce.
Soon as I gin up a small flightplan and get some pics, I'll post over in the Projects forum.

Joecoastie,
Are these Navy paints going to be avail for download? I did check GK paints, but couldn't pull them up on scramble.nl to check tail#'s, both the Army and ANG versions. I did notice that my Feb issue of CA Monthly has the TX ANG birds listed, I can't get close enough to them to make out the tail #'s.

I'll upload them to Avsim after I get off work tonight.
I looked for mention/pictures of the Texas birds on a couple of sites, including the Texas NG site with no luck.
Not only that, but they don't list any C-26's, just F-16 and C-130 for the Air NG and nothing for the Army NG.
There is a paint for one Texas C-26 in the ones from Graham King. 94-0260 - 111th FS, 147th FW, Ellington ANGB, Texas ANG.
