Modification for BAF 15th Transport Wing package

Post by Janeway »

Just this week I re-visited EBBR Brussels Airport where the Belgian Air Force 15th Transport Wing is located. Thanks to MAIW.
Along with the payware TRAFFIC2005 AI, Brussels airport is a very busy area.
When listening to the ATC chatter whilst circling the airport, I noticed that ATC was talking only to landing AI planes on rwy 25L. The long queue of aircraft lining up and taking off sequentially on rwy 25R were "off-the-air'.

Here's an option then for anybody who wishes to listen in on BOTH "landing" and "departing" AI traffic.
The only item modified was the Afcad for EBBR: specifically eliminating the doubled frequencies found there. I'm placing it below for you...if you wish to check it out.
The attached screenshot shows the Comm frequencies that remain.
My modification merely ''switches on'' the ATC for Rwy25R... whilst preserving ATC exchanges for Rwy25L.

With both civilian and military AI, it's a hectic spot to observe... with ATC chatter almost non-stop...

Enjoy!!

Hi,

I have split this post from the support thread as this is not an issue with the package and I wouldn't want people to think this is the way it should be, because it's not.

Traffic on 25R and 25L are also on 2 separate frequencies in real life.
