Strange jet sounds over Havant

Hi I wanted to know what aircrafts were flying over South Hampshire all day today. I can tell they are fighter planes because of the sound but I wanted to know if someone could clarify for me please. It is not passenger airliners because when I checked flight radar there was no traffic in the area.

The Reds were displaying at Swanage Regatta today, you may have heard them on the way back.

Ok thanks, also today this afternoon I looked and what looked like f-18's in Southern Hampshire, two of them quite low heading south east. can you say what is going on?
