Today when i was out Cycling, I saw a airbus a320 flying low over West Sussex, first i thought it was a boeing 737-200. So when i got home and used playback on flight radar, it was the Royal Oman Airforce on approach to Bournemouth. Now want to know why did it go thier?
It was quite a sight and the only planes that use the same approach are Thomson and Ryanair 737's.

Re: Royal Oman Airforce
Perhaps in for refuelling conversion at Cobham Aviation? That's where the RAF Voyager (A330) fleet is being converted.eric_19 wrote:Today when i was out Cycling, I saw a airbus a320 flying low over West Sussex, first i thought it was a boeing 737-200. Eric/Stewart,
Hi, I think you will find RAFO are regular visitors to Bournemouth, both with their A320's, C130's and previosly with their wonderful 1-11's.
The company I work for do a fair bit of business with RAFO & we regularly deliver in to a Freight Agent there.
Hope that fleshes out the reason you saw the A320 a bit
Regards
Geoff
