Rovaniemi Airbase (EFRO) - Download

Post by Stewart Pearson »

Here is the next part of my Finnish Airbase sceneries - Rovaniemi (EFRO).

Rovaniemi Airport (Finnish: Rovaniemen Lentoasema) (IATA: RVN, ICAO: EFRO) is the fourth biggest airport in Finland by annual number of passengers

(in 2011). Located in Rovaniemi, Finland, it is situated about 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Rovaniemi city centre.

The Arctic Circle crosses the runway closer to its northern end.

As well as civilian operations, it is home to the F-18s from 11 Squadron of Lapin Lennosto (Lapland Air Command).

Parking is coded to match the MAIW Finnish Hornets and Training/Transport releases.

Full list of files required is in the Readme.

Any problems just let me know.

WHOOPS!

Okay guys, I think we can safely say that we have all failed the observation test. :oops:

Was checking something out this morning, when I noticed this rather glaring error;

Anyway, my apologies. Attached bgls have the fire rescue vehicles parked the correct way round.
