As I sit here tonight in Scotland, with flood warnings all around, rain pissing down and temperatures hovering around 3 degrees C, I cannot help but think;

LOL! Don't hate Stew! I got up at 0430 this morning so that we could take off before the snow got really bad at home, flew 5 hours across the country including a fuel stop, only to eventually arrive in a somewhat chilly Southern California where it only made it to +16* C out here today.

Not exactly paradise. There wasn't even anything remotely military flying out here today and Miramar is just a few miles up the road.

Cracking view Mike, When we went to San Diego we stayed in a hotel that looked right over the bay at the island. Loved San Diego, even went to the Top Gun bar where some of it was filmed 8)
