Hi all, new to the forum.
Do all maiw packages work in FSX? Many of them say fs2004 of fs9.
I have looked at the southwest air national guard package and it says to delete Sky Harbor AFCADS. I use Ultimate Traffic 2. Are they compatible with each other?
Do all the packages come with their own airport bgl.? I have many that I have designed myself.
thanks in advance

Re: Newbie questions
Welcome to the forum.
All of our packages are for FS9 and are tested against default FS9 setups. On our FSX forum you will see many people giving useful suggestions on how to make our packages as FSX compatible. Not least we should mention Martin who not only wrote an excellent conversion guide but also has provided alpha updates for some models so that the canopies appear opaque in FSX, available through his website.
All packages come with their own afcads that have been designed to cope with the specifically named parking spots required for that package. You are quite free to use your own afcads but you will need to add/amend your parking to match that of our bgl. What we should here is that you should read Martin's conversion guide as afcads are one of those things that need to be converted.
If you get any issues ask them in the FSX forum, if they are not already addressed, and you will see that other users will help you out with a solution or advice.
One thing I would advise here is that we support the packages supplied as they are and whilst we will try to help out if you swap bits and pieces out there is no obligation to fix any resultant problems will will try.
Our packages and Ultimate Traffic 2 will work in partnership, as far as everything is known, but please remember that they are independent products. What I mean by this is that if we add Mil traffic to Sky Harbour, for example, we do a complete set and do not take into account what UT2 does. We fully expect UT2 to work in the same way. Therefore it would be wise to eliminate one set of traffic from that location or you could end up with double the traffic and therefore not enough parking spots and double the movements.
