Wow. I'm actually a bit surprised that the USAF actually chose the right aircraft after all that BS that went on.

At least someone still has some sense left in them.

That's all well in good but how are the Afghani's going to maintain and fly them after we leave?

But there is an opportunity for a small package in that article: "The contract also calls for Sierra Nevada to train U.S. trainers who will then train the Afghan forces. Gilbert says the training is slated to take place at the municipal Clovis air field in New Mexico." Very, very close to Cannon AFB. Ron

Cool, looks like I'll schedule a x-country flight out to Clovis to check them out. Driven through that area, I would hate to be stationed at Cannon.
