RESOLVED! Black Canopies Are Fixed

Post by Reggie »

I solved the mystery of my black F-15 canopies. I manually extracted the SE ANG package and installed it into FSX in pieces. There is a small texture file that has to go into the main Texture folder in FSX. This was automatically done for me in FS9, so I wasn't thinking about it when I first tried to install the package in FSX.

So if you are manually installing a MAIW package in FSX, make sure you install every folder from the package after you extract the package.

Sorry to bother you guys. I hope this helps someone else and thanks for all your replies and assistance.

Reggie, can you post that filename just for others to check. I didn't have any canopy issues, only the weapons.bmp for the F-15E's which I finally fixed.

That's what I was trying to say.
Cheers,

It's just a "Texture" file in the package. I copies the files in it to the main FSX "Texture" folder.

Now all is well.
